IKO is proud to present another crowning achievement! Our Crowne Slate shingles represent a breakthrough in technology, performance and aesthetics. Until recently, it was virtually impossible to recreate the subtle colour and texture nuances of natural slate. But now any home can have the curb appeal of a natural slate roof without its expense, weight and maintenance worries! Crowne Slate shingles have a dimensional thickness and profile to further evoke the beautiful contours and natural appearance of slate tiles.
Thanks to their hybrid, two-piece construction, our Crowne Slate IKO-SBS modified bitumen shingles are extremely durable and impact resistant, with a UL 2218 Class 4 Rating. They’re engineered for resilience, durability, great handling and ease of installation even in cold weather conditions. With their algae-resistant granules, high-tensile strength and tear-resistance, Crowne Slate shingles will protect and perform as great as they'll look for years to come.
