Remarkably, we have already noticed a difference in our home.  With the new windows, doors, siding and insulation, the house is much cooler on hot summer days and much warmer on the cool days we have experienced recently.  While in previous years I would have had to turn on our furnace if we had two days of overcast weather and 5C evenings, after the renovation, the house stays warm throughout the evening.

I would also like to commend Jerry and his crew who did outstanding work.  Under Jerry’s direction, the job went smoothly: his care, attention to detail and craftsmanship in performing the work were remarkable.  Jerry and his crew treated my home as if it was theirs and it was a pleasure having them here.

Jerry ingratiates himself to you upon first meeting with his friendly and outgoing attitude.  His vast knowledge of not only your product but seemingly EVERY aspect of home renovations is astounding.  He is a perfectionist and that is appreciated.  It seemed as though he was as concerned as us about what happens to our home.  He found and fixed electrical problems that really were not part of his work.  We feel confident our house is much safer now that this has been taken care of.  We mentioned earlier that the product cause quite a stir: it paled in comparison to the general hubbub of what Jerry caused.  We think he now knows our neighbours better than us!!

Every day we are given a new compliment on our house and every day these same people want to know who the installer was.  His finishing work is beautiful.  All the little “extras” he incorporates into the finished project are beautiful.  Other trades people working on the house informed us of the exceptional job Jerry was doing.

During the entire change out of the windows, the crew kept our house clean and wasn't happy until each window was installed to their own exacting standards, including cleaning the stickers off the glass. This was perfect for us because we like to see work completed professionally too... It was! The guys were flexible enough to complete the casing on the dining room window and... since I like to do some work myself, I am going to complete the casing for the garden window. We purchased the Oak casing for the Dining Room and the Garden Window the morning of the day they were about to installed it. Chris installed the Dining Room casing and cut the casing for the Garden Window. I'll install it after I put some wall board in the gap.

It was wonderful to hear Gerry interacting with the guys, Chris and Ryan. I wasn't present when Gene was working with the crew however Sharron indicated that Gerry was consistent in his approach no matter who was working with the crew. He was quietly observant with the team, guiding and teaching as required. I observed a nice balance of giving each man the space to do the job and instruction when necessary. Each of the men was competent and... they helped each other each day, doing whatever was necessary at the moment. Laughter was an important component of the job... imagine a crew who actually enjoyed what they were doing and wanted to please the customer as well. That was present in spades with this crew! Both Gerry and Chris included us in the decision making as the job progressed so that in the end, we are thrilled with the work and the final look of our home with its' new windows. We can hardly wait to get the patio doors and the front door replaced.

They were very professional and completed the job to our satisfaction. The clean up was great and I enjoyed talking to them. These days we cannot say enough about the positive things that people do. In this rapidly growing city it make me nervous when we have a job on the house that requires an outside contractor to come and complete the request. We very much appreciated the time you took to explain everything to us, including how to proceed with an Energy Audit so that we could benefit from government grants. You were also readily available when we had any questions about the process or the detail work – and there was a lot of detail in cladding all the wood trim. Even when we were away on holidays, you consistently followed up with us. You also did a final check of the job and ensured everything was done to your own high standards. Even after that, once we returned from vacation, you went over everything with us again and ensured that every detail was taken care of.

We also would like to thank Jerry and Ron and the others that worked on the exterior. They were always polite, considerate and extremely helpful.
